Ingredients and Allergies

 

It is your responsibility to let me know any allergies. i can not 100% guarantee that any of my bakes can be allergen free as i am a home kitchen and even following cleaning and careful procedures there is still the risk of may contain. if you are worried please talk to me about this.

i will add allergens to all of my bakes, if you require a full list of ingredients please do ask and i can provide this for you. it is up to you to pass on the information to guests or anyone eating the bake.

 

Gluten free and vegan

 

I do provide gluten free and vegan, but as explained in the first section, i cannot guarantee these products are 100% dairy free or gluten free, so i would advise not to order if you have a serve allergy. 

 

Deposits​
 

A none refundable deposit is taken to secure an order and its date. I will happily pencil an order in until a set date for example your pay day, but if this deposit is then not received and i do not have any communication from you i will then cancel the order and the date may be lost. Deposits vary from price of order but this will be discussed on ordering. If for any reason you decide to cancel a cake you will loose your deposit. if you have paid any of the balance off i will refund that amount as long as its 2 months before the date, but you will loose the deposit. If you need to move the date, if i can i will but if not you will loose deposit. 

 

Balance to be paid

 

When it's a celebration cake balance is due the week before. You can also pay in full on ordering it's up to you.

wedding cake balances are due 2 weeks before, just because its such a busy time for you and me.

 

Delivery or collection

 

I will advise you where is best to put the cake for transportation in the car, the boot or foot well is best as it needs to be flat. If you choose to ignore this, i will not be liable if the cake moves etc. Also please drive carefully, no harsh braking or taking corners quick. If you send someone else to collect the cake please give them this information and i will also advise them. Remember delivery is available at a small fee if you are concerned.

All wedding cakes are delivery only! If i deliver to a venue i will advise them also to keep the cake cool.

Once cake is delivered or collected it is your responsibility to care for the cake. 

 

Storing the cake/cupcakes

 

Most of the cakes i work with are buttercream, so in contact with heat they will just melt! i will advice you how to store the cake, if its middle of winter it will stay nice and cool, but things like having it next to heat such as radiator or oven will make it melt, if you have the heating on and its quite warm please pop in the fridge. the same in summer when its really warm months i would keep it in the fridge and take out about an hour before your due to eat it so its not too hard. all cakes are kept in the fridge for transportation. 

 

Delivery or collection time

 

I will discuss with you the time of day that best suits we will then agree closer to the time on a half an hour slot. I would just like to remind people that this is my home and i also have other orders and a life, so i cant be available to wait around for hours. i also have dogs and i make sure they are shut away for collection so its not fair on them either.
